関東圏ではちょっとした初詣の名所であり、お正月以外も国内国外問わず観光客が絶えない成田山、 その参道沿いにある和菓子屋さん「なごみの米屋」が公開している資料館です。 東京出張のついでと言っては何ですが、なかなか行ける機会がないので見に行ってきました。
"Narita-san" is a temple visited by many tourists regardless of Japanese or foreigners. I went to a museum where the Japanese sweets shop "Nagomi-no-Yoneya" on that approach was exhibited.
Google Maps参道からは店を通り抜けた反対側にあるので、お土産を買いに立ち寄っても気づかない人が多いのか 人気がなくてゆっくり見て回ることができました。
Since the museum is on the back side of the store, it can not be found from the approach. Because of this, people who are not particularly interested do not visit, so there are few people and you can visit slowly.
二階建ての建物のうち一階は期間展示で、この時は成田空港開設からの歴史についてのパネル展示だったので今回はスルーで。 二階の常設展示だけ見てきました。
The building is two stories, and the exhibition on Chiba and Narita on the first floor is held irregularly. A permanent exhibition on Japanese sweets is set up on the second floor.
階段を上がるとまず目に入るのは米屋さんの歴史です。創業からの歴史が日本の出来事とともに語られています。 ちなみに創業は明治32年 (1899年) だそうです。
The first exhibition is the history of the store. The history of "Yoneya" and Japanese history are described side by side. Yoneya was founded in 1899.
過去の米屋さんの広告と包装紙、そして過去、成田に存在した他店の羊羹のパッケージです。 以前は成田には羊羹店がたくさんあったそうですが、和菓子に適した理由が何かあったんでしょうかね？
Advertisements and wrapping paper previously posted by "Yoneya" and packages of other shops are displayed. Although the number of Japanese sweets shops has decreased today, it is said that there were more than 20 stores in the past.
かつて店で使用されていた器具が展示されています。右手前に展示されている木型は落雁の成型に使われていたものです。 写真には写っていないのですが、落雁の型を使って和紙を抜いたうちわが展示されていました。

中央には羊羹の材料が展示されています。左側には砂糖が、中央の竹籠には小豆やインゲン豆、右には天草と糸寒天が積まれています。
In the middle of the floor there is exhibited the materials of Yanpa. Yanmei's ingredients are composed of several kinds of sugar, azuki beans, kidney beans, and "Tengusa" (which is a material of agar, written as "Gelidiaceae" in English)
上の写真は昭和45年に発売された一口パックの「ヨネパック」。今ではコンビニで一口サイズが当たり前に売られていますが、 当時はまだ珍しかったようです。
The above picture is a small size sheepskin released around 1970. Such miniature sheeps are currently sold at convenience stores in general, but it was still rare at that time.
味はレーズンと小倉が1本ずつだったようです。
