先日より気になっていたスズキ・スイフトを2日間借りて試乗してみました！ 何処から借りたかというと普通にレンタカーで借りたんですが、レンタカーで白黒以外の車を貸してくれるのは 珍しいかも。

三連メーター。最近の車はタコメーターが省略される傾向にあるのですが、 一応走りの良さをウリにするだけあってちゃんとついてます。 オートマ車だとあまり見ることは無いかもしれませんが……

左側はウィンカーレバーですが、右のガスコンロのつまみみたいなのがイグニッションのつまみ。 キーレスエントリーが使える場合はそのまま回せばエンジンがかかり、使えない場合(電池切れとか)は 普通の車と同じように、ここにキーを挿して回します。

センターコンソールはシフトレバーとドリンクホルダー、サイドブレーキ。映ってませんが手前には財布置き？の穴があります。 別に珍しい作りではないですが、電源ソケットがここにあるのは使いやすいなぁ。

ダッシュボード上部には広いスペースがとられているので、ナビをつけるんだったらポータブルのを上部スペースにつけて、 綺麗に収まる純正オーディオをつけることをオススメします。私が買うとしたら今使ってるUSB対応のを載せ代えますが。

どこかで聞いた評価によると「同クラスのコンパクトカーの中ではよく走るほう。しかし値段以上の期待はするな」 という事ですが、今まで乗ったことのあるAT車に比べてキックダウンでの再加速がやりやすいと思いました。 高速で追越しをかけるときに、ちょっと強めに踏むだけでシフトが落ちて加速モードに入ってくれます。

普段乗っている車が軽自動車のツインなので走りがどうこう言っても参考になりませんが、さすがに軽とは違う。 ツインじゃ120キロ巡航で安定とか考えられませんからね～。伊勢湾岸道で頑張ってみたところだと、140くらいまでは 普通に操作できるレベルを維持できているようですが、それ以上は騒音や振動がヤバげな事になってきてました。

給油した時の明細によるとトリップが378キロで25.75リッターですから、燃費は大体15キロくらいですか。 ガソリン代の高騰がちょっとはマシになってきたとはいえ、この燃費は最近のコンパクトカーと比べると厳しいですね。

普段乗ってるのがツインであることに由来する不満なのですが、小回りの効かなさが車庫入れに影響するなと思いました。 何度かPA、SAで休憩したときに車庫入れしたものの、ことごとく斜めってました(笑)
それと、ウィンカーをつけたときのリレー音が静かなのと、メーターパネルの矢印ランプが暗いせいで、 高速で車線変更するときに「ウィンカーついてる……のか？」と不安になります。
後部座席を倒しての荷物がたくさん積めるモード、カタログなんかではフルフラットモードと名づけられているものの、 これはちょっとなぁ……と。倒したシートの背後の傾斜がきつすぎて、「フルフラット」とはとても呼べたもんじゃありません。 具体的には、完全停止の状態でも中身の入ったプラスチック製弁当箱がずり落ちるレベルです。

うまくすれば、フルフラット状態に寝袋を持ち込んで仮眠スペースにできるかな？と思いましたが、どう考えても無理ですね。 本来の荷室部分にはフタがついてるんですが、このフタが華奢で、仮眠なんかして脚を置いたら割れてしまいそうです。 仮眠したけりゃモビリオスパイクでも買えって事ですね。

この使い勝手でこの価格、ついうっかり勢いで買ってしまいそうなのですが、かといってツインを手放すにはちと弱い。 なにしろ燃費だけでなく、税金その他を含めた維持費を考えるとえらいことになりそうですから。
あと、現行ラインナップは色が不満。青は不人気色らしいのですが、私は青が欲しいです。 限定のXG AEROには濃紺があってこれでも悪くないかとは思いますが、エアロ部分が物凄いダサいですよ……。 「販売会社取り付けパーツ」とか注意書きが載ってるって事は、あえてつけない事も出来るんかなぁ。
